Prudential International Assurance Plc

Prudential International Assurance plc (PIA), is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Prudential Group. Based in Dublin, Ireland, it operates under the European Union’s “freedom of services” rules, selling and marketing its products under the Prudential brand.

PIA aims to become the leading UK-owned freedom of services provider of investment and savings products in Europe. PIA’s strategy is to primarily focus on selected European markets where there is clear demand and sales potential for Prudential International products combined with the opportunity to leverage the heritage, brand strength and reputation of the Prudential name by capitalising on its investment capability and financial strength with distributors and investors alike.

PIA’s flagship investment product is a single premium investment - International Prudence Bond. It provides access to three PAC With-Profits funds, denominated in USD, Euro and Sterling, each of which is reinvested into the Long-term Fund of the Prudential Assurance Company Ltd.

Setting Prudential Apart:

Prudential’s With-Profits fund has achieved outstanding results due to its superior investment performance; its investment freedom, which allows it to change the asset mix to reflect its views on markets; and its continued focus on maintaining the financial health of the With-Profits fund. All of this adds up to an exceptionally strong with-profits fund.
