What is a protected cell company ("PCC")?
A PCC is an open ended investment vehicle governed by the provisions of The Companies (Guernsey) Law, 1994, as amended and the Protected Cell Companies Ordinance 1997, as amended.
Dominion PCC Limited is regulated as Class B Scheme, designed for sophisticated, professional and institutional investors.
The benefits of a PCC structure are:
- Guernsey is amongst the most sophisticated and modern regulatory environments for investment funds;
- Each fund's assets are only available to satisfy the creditors of that fund and creditors of other funds have no claim upon them. The assets of each fund must be kept separate and be separately identifiable from non-fund assets of Dominion PCC Limited and the assets of other funds.
